I spray paint a ring around the ones I see on the way down the road.
Then I pick up the ones that ain't in a ring on the way back.

That is a beauty! I?m jealous. 

I?m still trying to save up some $$ to improve my scope situation on my Tikka .270 stainless. Crazy how a good rifle is affordable but a high end scope will cost more than two or three times the value of the gun!

I had buddy with a Model 94 in .44 mag which was so fun to shoot.

Thx, it's off getting an action job & red dot at the moment.  I got the '94 first and decided I "needed" a '92 too :

I been looking for a Husky in .270 for years, might have to expand search for a .308 instead.

I hunt many a critter with many a gun.  

I mainly use my savage 30.06 that I got for my 12th birthday for big game and then my benelli nova for waterfowl.

So nice to see the youngsters out there too way to go. My buddy from work is on a big Northern expedition just tagged a very large moose...very happy for him. If he gives me permission I?ll post the pictures.

Well, another year has come and gone. I was lucky enough to be able to hunt sheep this year. Found a full curl ram and tried twice to put a stalk on him with no luck. We slipped in close on five other rams...two very large but not quite legal. Back home now and do not need to clean the bore of my rifle lol. Appreciate any time I can get out in the field; not quite as often as I used to due to family and work commitments. Hope you all had luck out there putting meat in the freezer.

Thank much. It really is awesome country. I brought some sage home with me just so I can smell the desert in my house. Who knows, my neighbor has a goat draw so maybe I can go help him on that trip.

How did everyone make out for hunting this year? I haven't been back to the family deer patch in about 8 years so this year decided to do the traditional family whitetail hunt. Great weather and we did pretty well taking 5 bucks. Nothing huge but nice to have meat in the freezer again.

After a three year dry spell I was able to harvest a small horned muley forked horn buck in Idaho and a very nice 8 point whitetail in Missouri.
