3tc and power steering. Please

After Fridays ride I barely made it home. 39 years of pulling wrenches has took its toll on my shoulder and friday I was in so much pain by time i got home I will have to do something before I go out again. 
 I have been procrastinating this change for years but now its purty much do it or get out of the zuk forever.
   In the Zuk at present is a 2tc 1600 toyota motor and trans. No provision on this engine for the power steering pump or brackets. The bolt holes arent there. 
 What i have to go in is a 3tc 1800 with power steering pump already on it. The wagon I took it out of had power steering air n all. Engine only has about a 100,000 miles which is low miles for these motors.

The engine has been sitting for a number of years and #4 cylinder has little pitting cause of a thief that stole the radiator and left the hood up.

The exhaust valves were also pitted. Intake valves and seats were good. Got 4 new exhaust valves on the shelf

Got head surfaced still have to do valves. Notice these motors have a hemispherical head. Its a hemi

Some cleang and painting is done. And for the last 3 months or so nuttin has happened. Need a drop pitman arm for tracker box and i want to find a radiator that works better than the corolla radiator I'm using.

Always thought a Toyota K series or T series engine in a Suzuki would be a fun swap.

Shaving the head messes with valve adjustment

Anybody got a tracker p/s drop pitman arm?

Looking good Mark!  Mighty purdy!  How much shave did the head get?

Just enough to straighten it. Didnt get a measurement from machine shop

Got my drop pitman arm for the power box. Soon as i get a couple of projects out of the way Im ready to start the changeover

Few months later. Some more parts collected and the fact the 2tc blew headgasket between 2 cylinders I started again. Made some progress. Pulled engine trans.  Also measurements for clearance. Power steering will add pulleys to front of engine so it has to be moved rearward.

Transmission was leaking. Its a split case with silicone sealing.  Diassembled cleaned and resealed with new ultra gray. 1978 trans I guess sillycone breaks down after 40 years.

Finally the thing my Zuki has needed. Also picked up radiator from my friend who I really appreciate that calls me Paw-Paw . no pic of radiator yet.
