Mystery sensor on 1.6L intake plenum

I got this 1994 Sidekick OBD1 I'm taking the engine out of. Swapping it into my Samurai. The motor is NOT a 94 as it has the crank sensor so it was originally in an OBD2 rig.

It has a sensor screwed into the back of the intake plenum that I can't track down. It's brown right next to the yellow vacuum cap in the picture. It's not needed for OBDI but I would like to know what it is

Looks like what the vacuum hose from the modulator on a 3 speed auto connects to.

Interesting.....the engine is in a 1994 obd1 5 speed manual but it's not the original as it has a crank sensor which is obd2.

I put a vacuum cap on it.
