hi guys,

did you know that its a little bit more than a year that the productions of the samurai under licence by santana was stopped?
and that most of the late spanish samurais a peugeot diesel engine had under there hood?
they still produce a their own version of the first suzuki sidekick, also with diesel engine

i'm on the run, so i have no time to search for the santana website.

greetings from switzerland,

suki

The Spanish website from Suzuki is www.santana-suzuki.es

We had the samurai with a diesel engine from peugeot and renault.  But they were no killers ;)

Hugo

Hello!  Santana no longer makes samurai, neither in gasoline nor in diesel oil with Peugeot motor. Samurai of Santana also made with diesel oil motor Peugeot 1,9, turbocharger with 62 cv and with diesel oil motor Renault 1,9, atmospheric of 64 cv.

Yes, it continues making sidekick (Vitara) under license, but now they have changed its name by:  Santana 300 or 350 (3p or 5p)con motor 1,6 gasoline and 1997 cc model DW10TD turbodiesel of 90 cv.

Santana makes under license suzuki jimny soft top and canvas Santana makes Santana Ps-10 or Anibal similar to English Defender.

Bye

almost everything is PVC, Square shape in, circle shape out

Do you happen to know the brand of PVC you used ?? I too have not seen rectangular PVC before only the circular tube.?
I am searching the net to see what is available ....?

JK

Not the mark of the rectangular tube, but is the one that is used to ventilate toilets of the premises and bars by means of electrical extractors.

Try this, http://www.johnstonesupply.com/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wsbroker1/login.htm?store=Corp&browse=yes&category= Click on "HVAC equipment" Then "installation Supplies" Then "lineset ducting" Then find a HVAC tech to get it as they only sell to licensed techs. ::)
At the least, this will give you a good place to look.

maybe all of you havent saw a rectan. pvc tube pipe maybe you havent (at least) ask to the guy in charge of home depot, they will know what to offer to u .
if someone made that snorkel,  it means  that we can do it

it's a way lot more work than you think it is... then when you get into it you realize this.... but it's too late to stop lol

mine took me about 15-20 hours (not all one day  :P) but I guess if you know what you're doing you could do it faster... I've never done anything like this and am pretty proud of how it came out (and how it sounds and how much better the engine breathes  ;D) Mine was more of a cold air intake since it will see that more than windshield deep water. well ok it will see deep water too  ;D need to build more first.
