Just so I don't have anyone yelling that I'm not putting enough buggy content in that build...

I'm just starting a thread on what we have done to the shop.
First we started with a storage trailer, then emptied 4 bays of a local storage building. That was covered in 1" of dirt.

Took 2 week/weekends of alot of friends to clear everything out.

And started moving suzuki in.

I still don't have very much electrical service, But I was tired of 4 100 watt light bulbs lighting the whole area. That had to change.

Picked up 12 277v lights for free, got ballasts for them, and have only installed 5.

Also made a makeshift tire rack out of pallets and angle iron.

Had a nice heavy rain, flooded the entire 300f building.

That was a quick fix

Ok, winter coming up, Need to start on the heat source.

Got a woodstove, added a chimney. Mostly for free. It even has built in heat sinks, with a blower system.


And that brings everything up to date.

Yeah. i just need to enclose the roof.    Those rafters really leak air.

Looks like a Fine work/play shop.  
Hope you get the rain water problem solved soon, I once worked in a fellers shop that would flood like that, it was a PITA.

Yea the concrete floors look nice.My shop have dirt floors in the summer and mud floors in the winter. In a heavy rain I have a small stream running in the front door out the back.

Yes, That little pallet entrance fixed the fact that water was falling straight down and underneath the doorway.

The floors are just a plus. We had working on my junk in and around that place for a while now. I don't have too many pictures of bad zuk around there, but my shop was in and around that trailer for 3 years now. No roof, just a gravel parking lot with some access to inside equipment.

We built the beater in 2.5 days, with the help of 4 people,

Got the wood stove tuned in.
Need to seal off alot of ceiling space, let me know if you know of a cheap and easy way. If not I'm going to get some more white plastic wrap and nail it up.

I have to cover up a 50x30 area that is open joists, that link back to the rest of the warehouse. It just let's the heat roll out.

Supercharged the wood stove.
Got some new inventory
And some new security measures. Got a large businesses move in with alot of foot traffic where foot traffic shouldn't be.   So out with the harbor freight special, and a real dead bolt.

Well from the picture they look really good.
What sizes do you recap?
How much are they?
How do they do on the highway?
Do you do street treads and same questions for them?
And what is your location?

Location is 22802. That is the only tread we can get just yet. I had a price sheet and lost it. Haven't ran them yet so II do t know on highway.

Broke down and bought the plastic for the roof. Don't mind the mess. It holds some heat back. Need to fix all the little cracks. Also working on storage rack. I really need to get rid of some tires lol.

Last but not least, we will have the graphics done soon. And there will be a T-shirt give away.

You can find some cardboard boxes and staple up over the plastic. My buddy did it in his shop and it helped a lot
