Been there done that..

Why does everyone chop them off, I just BFH'd my inner fender a tad and installed em full height..
 
I did the same as Mini..............

Just set the shock tower up like normal and see where the top of the tower will touch. Then bet it with a BFH. I did however have to trim a little off the bottom...about an 1/8th of an inch. HTH

it's 2 1/2 inches of clearance to the top
and about 1/4 to 1/2 on the bottom and about 1/2 on the back

some goober that had it before me used 2 1/2 spring perches so win i did the rears upfront i made new u-bolt plates that have spcers welded to them like spring locatetors i used 3 springs from the front pack (2nd, 4th, 5th) and 2 from the rear pack (1st, 3rd) so i cold have the military wrap
i also had to add some more metal to the u-bolt plate because i decided to put the shock's on the plates
