diamond plate inner door panels

soon more will go on and more mods to come.
starting with a 2 inch shackle lift , then a spoa lift.
Ive been offered some 33 12.50 15's on rims for around ?500
so i may be going large too.
i killed some blades cutting the alloy  chequer plate yesterday so thats not yet done, off to try again today.
if not i have the option of using  a plasma cutter.

i spoke to a zuke guy with a workshop yesterday and asked him  about making up a rollcage for me.
he said if i draw it he can make it.

he recommended alloy
it's the best way to go, he said.

some kind of alloy that's used to make planes.

apparently  it's stronger than steel and far far lighter.
he has several pipe bending tools in the workshop and has made many roll bars and cages before.

i told him that i want an exterior cage that bolts to the chassis.
he said its up to you.  :)
materials are around ?90
so thats a future project to look forward too.

meanwhile I'm off to go look at a zuke that's for sale
it's ?200 again but  this one has a vitara 1.6 fitted .
;D and it's an '86' model
i will update on it's condition :-\\\\

Ive started. word of advice.
when riviting the panels in place.
becareful not to put a rivit in too close to the lock mechanism
as the door lock wont work after lol

lol do you know why it is on this side?
its obviously from way back,
as far as  when stage coaches were around.
you would control the horses with the left hand whilst fighting off an attacker with your right hand see.
well if it were this way today you would be able to hold your sword out of the window with your right hand whilst steering your zuke with your left hand lol

this  is why cars are right hand driven in the uk as far as im aware. [greenvertside]
