Bypass fuel pump and filter beat way

Bought a 94 Sidekick. Cheap enough but It's a long story....

It's got issues(I knew it going it). Hard to start at time. Once started idles great. No smoke no codes but 51 (egr is disconnected I know I know I know will address that later). It will not take any throttle. It boggs out and dies.

I've done lots of reading and verifying and the only thing I can find wrong is 20psi of fuel pressure. Sometimes even less. It will not stay running i.e. idle under 20psi.

SO it's either fuel pump, filter or regular. I plan to pull this 16v out and put it in my Sam so looking to bypass the Sidekick pump and filter and use the E2000 pump and filter I plan to use on the Sam swap.

What's the best way to tap into the stock system with the E2K pump. Trying to not spend money on parts not used in the swap.

Pulled the filter.....it's clogged. Tank is fill of rust and dirt and whatever else. No need to put the new filter on.....I'm sure the pump screen is full of crap too as well as the pump is more then likely damages with all the crap that's gone through it.

Going to cobble some things together and run it out of a gas can for now.

Got all the parts in and the snow melted enough to get under the S-kick and hook everything up. No gas tank. Using a gas can with E2000 pump.

Primmed the system and had 40 psi fuel pressure. It fired right up. Running at idle has 38psi. No more bogging. Let it run for a very short time. Running rich....plan to let it run for a while tomorrow and see what happens. Might throw an O2 sensor at it.
