In accordance with tradition, once we've consumed entirely too much turkey, we need to nap it off. The next day, we need to work it off! How better than a Uwharrie NF Cold Turkey Run!!!

Speaking of tradition, this is usually a day run. However, I'm considering attaching some camp action as well. Anyone who wants to attend may make it a day trip or camp as desired.

To sum:

The when: Nov 26, 2021. We can meet at the Outpost on Hwy 109 at 9:30.
The where: the Uwharrie National Forest. Camping at Badin Lake Campground. Arrowhead is booked!
The who: anyone who'd like to ride!
The why: 'cuz it's fun seeing everyone. Oh, and there's wheeling and camping too.

Every year I want to make one of these Zuwharrie runs, and every year something kicks me in the junk hard enough to keep it from happening...this year it's "none of my 3 tow rigs are running"  :\\\'(  and I'm sure as hell not driving the Sammy that far, lol.

Maybe next year I can win the lottery, and just go buy me a new Lonestar  ;D

Some pix from our adventure! Thanks for going [member=7725]buckhornbob[/member] and [member=17652]k29349[/member]

Love the white Tin Top!!!! [thumbsup]  [thumbsup] Like the soft top too, but I have a thing for Tin Tops. I own one of each, but give more love to the Tin Top. ;D

It was a lot of fun! Glad to have beekiller as a tour guide. I would have been lost on that maze of trails up there. It was nice meeting bees mom and buckhornbob & the boys.

Russ certainly has a beautiful rig! Get this - he painted it himself! Talk about talent! Not only that, it also performed very well on the trail.

Got revenge on the spot that I flopped during the unZu. And durn if I didn't have to be pulled back on the trail buy a group of jeeps with in a rock throw of where I flopped. Darn rain the night before, was fun though. I think the flop affected Hunter, every time we got one wheel in the air, he would holler like a girl.
