Very nice, mine doesnt have as much rust but it is in pretty rough shape, i'm going to be redoing the whole electronics system and turning it into a West Texas Mule deer Bomber, picture od green with airplane teeth and front and back racks.

Man, that is some great work.  Thanks for sharing.  I'd like to be able to do that kind of work out in my garage some day.

Well the previous owner put a state trooper light control switchboard in the center between the seats.  It literally controls left blinker, right, tail lights, headlights, high beams, low beams, windshield wipers, reverse light and it's a giant pain cause any little bump will turn the switches on and I have issues with battery life.  I'm gonna run a a switch panel, and eliminate a few functions from the box, also gonna run those missle lock style switches, with the red covers.

it really looked better in the before pic ...... :-X

I know were you are coming from as stock LJs are getting rarer and rarer but if its any conselation, those guys restore a lot of LJs and in their club the 'raging rhinos' they probably have more mint condition LJs than anywhere else in the UK (quite a few of them are modified though). I think Simon has a completely stock one that has been restored too, it's another tin top the same colour as his modded one. I'll try to find some pics
