Rear Full Floater...

I have posted a couple of pictures to show how I did my full floater.

You will notice that I used samurai front spindles, hubs, even the backing plates, fabricated an adapter to go between the spindle and the axle, an oil seal was inserted inside the axle, and a custom bracket for the (back then) suzuki swift gti rear calipers, now ford Sierra calipers.

Shafts are also custom made.

wow great fab work !!!!!!
do you have your own mill?

THanks, credit for fabrication goes to Amorgianos, who also built my locker. He is Greek, and has also made the first air locker for a dana 25...(he has a M38A1).
My original idea was to fit rear disks with an ebrake attached, so I needed custom brackets for the calipers. On my first visit at Amorgianos's place (his real name is Michael), we started talking about widening the axle, and full floaters. So before you know it...
Right now I have a cable actuated locker in the back, but as we speak he is preparing my front and back air actuated lockers! ,... At first I wanted cable control, now after about 8 months of playing around with that, I think that air is better.

He MADE your locker? He must be the real deal!

Incredible,

Yup, I was actually the guinea pig for the first samurai locker. Right now he is in his v6 I think, changing the actuator mechanism to a better and more reliable design in every new version.

He was the guinea pig for his first ever lockers, which he did for his m38a1 (front dana 25 rear dana 44).
I was next, then a Lada Niva, a Kia Sportage and so on...

Check this thread, even though it's in Greek, you can see the pics...
