Power steering pump reservoir

This is the one I made from an old fire extinguisher. Remove handle and sprayer clean very well. Next mark one inch from bottom drill for fitting next mark where you want for the top and drill. I used 1/2 pipe thread by 1/2 hose barb. I taped the holes then applied JB Weld Quick installed fittings. For the plug I used and expansion plug. Mounted to front stinger with stainless steel hose clamps. Holds about 3.5 quarts.

Great idea!  I've been looking for a suitable reservoir for a replacement for the stock track/kick unit.  it would be great to increase the fluid volume.

Thanks for sharing!

If you have never had your steering over heat and burp you would know. I do not mean to sound harsh it just when you are on a trail full of technical turns cooler fluids are what you want. I had mine burp and turning was no fun. Yes I had a cooler but it is behind my radiator with a lot of air flow. I may move it to the front but first I must get a new clutch.
