figured i would give back to all those that i got info from...
this is the light bar i built for my kick. some key points if you are going to build your own:
use steinless steel hardware
use rubber bushings between body and rack
drill hole on roof under rack where it hidden and still seal it for water
use stock that is "bottom less" and weld in nuts for easy wiring (see drawing)
after many designs this way of mounting proved to be best
front and rear bumper post coming soon
