We constructed this snorkel with some loose parts we had lying around.  [smiley=smash.gif]
Total cost : 20? (about 26$)

Man that looks pretty good. You got any more details on it or any under the hood pics.

Need some details on what you did for the How to section ;)

Thx!

I'll take some pictures from under the hood ans post them here later.

Nice  !!

If you could offer some instructions along with each pic that would help everyone out here bud. I would like to know what you used to mount the snorkle to the windshield frame.

I just used rainpipe and the corresponding wallholders.  Available in any hardware store.

I'll try to post some pics this weekend.

Here are some pics  [smiley=thumb.gif]

image1
the red line followes the pipe and the flexible pipe..
I used 3 pieces 90? turns to guide the pipe around the battery and other parts.

image 2
close up of the 2 90? turns

image 3
I used another 90? turn to guide the pipe along the battery.
I used a flexible pipe to go up and reach the board under the windshield.

image 4
I drilled a hole in the board and inserted the flexible pipe.
We used a watertight glue to lock the flexible.

Image 5
I drilled a second whole where the flexible comes out, just under the windscreen.

image 6
I connected the flexible with watertight glue to the pipe and
guided it up along the side of the windshield.

image 7
I used a 45? turn to get the pipe straight up and mounted the top.
