Found this and thought it was pretty cool. I know it's a link but it's also a how-to. If it needs to be moved, it needs to be moved....... ;D

Not sure on this. What other accessories is your motor pushing? power steering? A/C? I would only use this welder for emergency trail repairs.
 
Thats pretty cool. You could make a little gas powered totally portable jawn with a lawn mower engine and some pullys. probably weight like a 100lbs though with a engine, bat, alt, and some sort of framing to hold it all together

I was thinking this too.........maybe an old generator frame....... [idea]
