Whenever you have a starter grinding, (turns but doesn't engage)
Most likely the flywheel teeth are worn, thus not engaging, turning the engine.
Before going out and buying a new flywheel, check the wear on the ring gear
teeth are most likely to be worn, but only on one half of the gear.
Unless it was done before hand, Take a torch and heat up the gear, enough that it will come off the flywheel and flip it over, it will cool off and stick in place,, you are probably good now for the life of the zuk.
