Fishig Rod Racks For The Samurai

II wanted to carry some surf fishing rods in my "86 Samurai, but first I had to install a grab handle over the drivers side door, so using jack nuts, that is what I did.. It worked out well... Then I bought a rack system off of Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/LITTLEMOLE-F...cphy=9031059&hvtargid=pla-1454310648947&psc=1 ...It is well made, and easily sturdy enough for my light weight 9-1/2' & 10', 2 pc rods... I pretty sure I could fit a 11', 2pc rod if I wanted ... Here is the final result...

Thank you .... Not much to the install, except installing the jack nuts for the drivers side hand grip... I'm pretty impressed with the rod holder... It's very well designed and made... I had thought of using straps, but I wanted the rod secured, as there're isn't a lot of room for movement in the Samurai...

Well, I've used these things a few times now, and am really very happy with them... A nicely designed and made product...
