Hello,

I thought I would share a few pictures of my 88 Samurai. I enjoy looking at other builds.  I purchased it in July 2021 and finished with it in March 2022.  It was very clean with very little rust.  1.3L motor and stock carb, until I install the Toyota 3K from Certified.  New clutch/flywheel, rebuilt transmission. New brakes and components all the way around.  OME 2? spring under suspension, 235/75/15 tires, rebuilt transfer case by Trail Tough with 4.16 gears and HD output shaft, Might Kong TC mount, Bedliner floor boards, re-upholstered front/rear seats, new paint, 78 amp alternator, dual batteries, warn winch, RRO rear bumper, spare tire/gas can rack, new Smitty built top.

Nice transformation! I dig the color too.

On a different note a "finished" rig is a new animal around here. Seems they always attract new prey. It probably doesn't help we are terrible enablers, so there's that. ;D

That is one good-looking Samurai. You should be proud.

Wait, so you are saying there is a way to finish a Suzuki Samurai? Going to have to look into this. I always thought people just stopped working on them cold turkey when friends-and-family interventions outnumbered relapses.

I think we need a little more description/porn of the 78 amp alternator, dual batteries.....

did you do the paint?

 Very nice sir!

Good point about never being finished.  There is more to do like rebuilding the front differential and eventually adding lockers. That is the original paint color. Nobody wanted to paint it or they wanted a lot of money to do it. I found a local shop that does custom work. They did a great job!  Thanks for all the kind words.
