I got tired of being annoyed by my soft-top bow rattling against the rear of the body everytime I took the top off. I used to strap it down by wrapping the tensioning straps around it on each side a couple times around. But I came up with an easier idea.
Just buy 2 clevis pins and 2 clips and replace the hardware connecting to the black bracket on the body. Now when you take your top off, you can easily just take the bow off too.
Improves the clean look and takes away the rattle.
PS - I found out shortly after I did this mod, that the little rubber things that came with my Sammi when I got it from the PO were actually factory bow-secure straps. But hey, I like this mod anyway.
