Hey guys just got back from deer camp and i got some pictures!!!!

Lets see what y'all got this season!!!!

I will start out with some of mine

I agree.... Alex is a good shot for sure.

I took a decent 6 point about 14 - 15 inches inside. I made jerky out of all of the meat.

I will post a pic tomorrow.

Thanks guys i will tell him y'all said he made a good shot !!!

we went to the range a couple times and i made him shoot at a deer picture with
a .22 for .........oh lets just say 500 rounds or so and then we moved up to the .410
and now hes able to handle a 20gage really well!!

I'm hoping to get him a buck before shotgun season is out.....i really don't like cleaning
a muzzeloder  but i guess if i have to just to get him a buck i will... LOL

hes only going a half day of school today........something about he left his homework
in the treestand.....    if he gets one i will be sure to post it up!!!!

and when i get a chance i will post up some of my buddys deer that we have got threw out the gun season
 
Sounds like you moved Alex up responsibly as far as shooting goes.


I would love to go to Indiana to hunt for a week.

Well guys we went hunting again and this time Alex and I got SKUNKED.....but my buddy had a nice day.......all of this before 9am

I had to post the buck .....its the smallest buck he has killed in about 15 years !!
the smallest doe weighed in at 120 and the other two were right at 170!!!! the buck......well he only hit the scales at 125
 
I finaly got me a Thanksgiving day buck! A 9 point with 3 kickers @ 150lbs. ;D

Taken off my back porch with a 7mm mag 220 yards down the pipeline that runs behind my house. Is that just sorry or what! lol

This is a little buck killed by my buddies nephew.....it was his first deer (day before shotgun season ended!!!

He now owes me a deer stake dinner!! We lost the blood trail and i happened to find it the next day while walking back out of the woods !

Now this is one of my buddies who waits till last light , on the last day of shotgun season to kill one!!

Now comes the best!!!! ALEX KILLED A BUCK!!!!!  got him this morning around 8:30 with a .50cal muzzeloder at about 30 yards. it was already wounded and Alex didnt get such a grate shot on this one....but he did good at telling me he didn't think he got a good shot on him so we waited him out and by 9:45 he was in the truck!!!

we had a decent year here in kansas. my 8 yr old brother shot the one on the left, my friend shot the one in the middle and my step dad shot the one on the right. the middle one and right ones were shot out of the same stand one week apart.

Hogs are fun to shoot and good eatin if you skin one out. ive been tryin to plan a hog hunting trip in texas with my uncle. maybe do that this year. ill be sure to post a tally!  [headbang]
