For Sale Guidelines *READ BEFORE POSTING*
The For Sale section is for listing items that YOU personally are selling. Please use the Links and Deals section if you:
   - Find a link to a good sale priced item
   - Have all your sales details linked from another forum, ebay, craigslist, etc
   - You have a friend selling something

For Sale Forum Rules:
1. You MUST be the seller of the item to post in this section
2. You MUST list a price for the item, no "make me an offer" or "feeler" posts
3. You MUST list the location of the item (you know, where you are at!)
4. You MUST post the full details of your sale in your post, otherwise it goes in the Links and Deals section. No linking to other sites for full details. Picture linking only is acceptable.
5. New users (STOCKERS) cannot list items in the FS Forum. You must be an active member with a minimum post count to list items for sale. This prevents SPAM and protects our users.
6. Chit Chat will be DELETED from all FS threads. Pad your post count elsewhere.
7. NO Bumping! People will look several pages back and see your item!!
8. No multiple postings! If you have more than one item to sell at a time, put them all in one topic and do not make separate threads for each item. They will be merged.

If your thread does not follow the rules, it may be moved to the appropriate section or deleted without notice. If you have a question, please contact one of the Zuwharrie Staff for more information.

Some people are like Slinkies. They aren't really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

My how time flies.  And things change.  Some time back there was a staff discussion concerning the For Sale rules.  As times have changed the rules will evolve as well.   8)

Here's how they will change from those previously in place (in red):

1. You MUST be the seller of the item to post in this section
2. You MUST list a price for the item, no "make me an offer" or "feeler" posts  Exception: part outs or other batch sales.  It is nearly impossible to list a price for every available part.  Use common sense here.  7 items won't count as a batch sale.  Staff reserves the right to define or redefine batch sales on a case by case basis.
3. You MUST list the location of the item (you know, where you are at!)  Remember: mobile users may not be able to immediately view your listed location.  List it in the post, please.
This has been another controversial rule.  We're willing to make exceptions at this point.  However, we still reserve the right to correct or remove any and all FS posts.

Again, let common sense be your guide.  Another item worth rehashing - insurance.  If you buy OR sell here, insurance is advisable.  It's cheap.  It protects both parties.  There is absolutely no reason to pass it up if the item is worth $20 or more.  That way if it's damaged in shipping the item is covered.  This avoids finger pointing or a situation where one or both parties lose out due to an occurrence beyond the control of either party.   ;)

In short, new members may now post here, pricing restrictions are decreased, we reserve the right to mod as deemed fit, and get insurance.   [thumbsup]
All I want from tomorrow is to get it better than today.

Claiming you are offended is essentially saying you are incapable of controlling and managing your emotions, so everyone else should do it for you.
