WTB Air Conditioning
Hey all,

New to Zuwharrie as a poster, but have been lurking for yeeeeaarrss.

I've got 2 Sammys, one 87 soft top, 16v with SPOA and 31s. My second is new to me, 88.5 TT that I'm going to install a 16v into as soon as I can get an A/C to go with it.

I've never worked much with A/C before, but it sounds like I need to have pretty much a compete Sammy A/C as well as a Trackick A/C to make it work in the Sammy with a 16v. I was gifted an A/C out of a Sidekick so I'm just in need of the Sammy parts.

Cheers!

Welcome to the Zu!   [thumbsup]
All I want from tomorrow is to get it better than today.

Claiming you are offended is essentially saying you are incapable of controlling and managing your emotions, so everyone else should do it for you.

I have the evaporator core with the cut out parcel tray, switches, drier bracket, brand new in the box drier, complete wire harness. I have the AC button for either style dash. I don't have the condensor, fan, or any of the pipes.

Here is a pic of the stuff. I finally got it all packed up.
1. cut out parcel tray
2. complete wire harness(2 parts)
3. AC controller mounted under parcel tray.
4. Evaporator core with bracket that hooks around dash bar and firewall bolt/nut
5. Both dash style ac buttons
6. Micro switches
7. Drier bracket
8. Brand new drier
9. Vacuum switch thingy(one nip is broken)
10. PS pump and A/C engine bracket. I think they were from a 1.6 8v but maybe you can get them to work? I cut up the PS pump bracket. It's gnarly, but I used it on my 1.3 16v
11. Pressure Switch.
12. I threw in my compressor hoses, but I have no idea if you can use them or not. I can't so I thought maybe you could.
