rear shocks, 2" lift ... also looking for Canadian distributors !!
Looking to buy new shocks for my 99 vit. 1.6l 2 door. Im seeing allot of guys cross referencing shock lengths with a 2" lift to other car manufactures, ! know of crown vic.. just not the year. Whats the softest/smoothest riding option out there? please put make\model \year and of coarse the brand of shock you used! (factory or aftermarket)

also looking for Canadian distributors ! for anything Suzuki

Measure the length you need. get the right length the first time. HERE is a PDF I made with several shock part numbers and lengths. They are all easy to get and cheap.

You can just get Pro Comp ES1000's from your local 4x4 shop or Lordco. I found part numbers off Boondoxmotorsports.com :

Procomp ES1000 series shock absorbers provide great performance and value. The narrow profile will not interfere with Suzuki lower shock mounts like larger body shocks will. Includes black boots. Sold in pairs.

Monroe oespectum (lifetime warrenty) , part number - 37199.... matched with 1.5" OME spings and 1" spacers stock bump stops.

Upper Mounting CodeStem Mount - 2.3/8" Stem Length X 3/8"-16 Thread Pitch
Lower Mounting CodeLoop Bushing Mount - 5/8" Bushing ID X 1.5/16" Bushing OAL
Compressed Length14.375"
Extended Length24.250"
Travel Length9.875"

After spending hours in the parts store looking through different shocks seeing what they had in stock. i finally decided on these  [thumbsup] . After installing I checked to see if I would bottom out or over extend the shock under full flex, everything seems to be fine i think id be able to add another 1\2" of lift in the rear and not have to worry.
