Stop/Brake Lamps.
Noticed one of my stop lamps (rear) was not operative.

Bought a twin bulb package (1157) and replaced both bulbs.

Upon checking the operation, regular tail lamps work.  But when using brakes, both sides turn on upon using brakes, but one side shines a lot less then the other side.

Would it be an issue with ground ?  All other lamps, head , side and tail, as well as indicators work well.

  :(

I will reply to myself.  Not much enthusiasm over here, but I am a one man party, no worries !  LOL.

Probably it is the old sockets.  Ordered new lenses and complete lamp units. That should take care of the issue.

Will post myself the outcome so I can have a record LOL

...there are a bunch of grounds back there relative to the lights, and wouldn't hurt to get some bare metal after 30 years
