Ok as i promissed more info...

As George posted the dates will be July 31st to August 2nd

We will again be staying at Twin Grove Campground.

www.twingrove.com

If you plan on bringing an RV or renting a cabin make your reservations ASAP!!! the sites fill up fast!!

PLEASE BRING THE FAMILY!!!

Make sure you check out the campgrounds website. They have a very nice pool and plenty of stuff for the wife and kids to do. It is within 30 minutes of Hershey Amusement Park and the facilitates are top notch!

We will be having our group dinner and raffle under the same pavillion as last year however our campsites will be on the other side of the campground from last year.

Camping will be a group camp affair. We will have 5 sites reserved as our own general area. The fee will be $10/person per night.

We will be wheeling at Rausch Creek ORV Park in Joliett,PA.

http://www.rc4x4.org/rcforum/

Due to the size of our group we will not be getting a group discount rate, and as of Jan 1st they will be raising their rates to $35/day (this is paid directly to the park and not to our event on a daily basis)

Please keep watch on this forum and on www.gonzookin.org for updates!

Any questions feel free to email me or PM me directly or any of the gonzookin staff!!

Hey Brian is there a build up on the samurai, kinda looks like 34 ltbs on that too.  Sweet little zuk family  [offtopic] [headbang]

Not a whole lot to talk about yet with this rig...I've had it for almost 5 years now....Bought it from a guy for $100, yes $100 because the t case was "frozen"...Yep, so put a new shifter sheet in and walla....Engine needs some TLC, but so far I installed a 5" SPOA, 34 LTBs  (good eye KaptainK), and some new rockers that I replaced when I got it....A little bit of rust, but nothing that I can't take care of... It's mainly been cleaning it up a bit, and trying to fix all the stuff the previous owner screwed up... I didn't have a place to work on it so it sat at my folks house for years....I finally bought a new house, so the sami lives inside my detached garage along with the kick...

Here's the short list of what I'm going to do to it...

5.12's from both my kick and another donor.  (I put 5.38 in my kick)
Put the spool I won from this year's GZ in the back, maybe a lockrite up front....
6:1 T-case gears to help the high range with the 34's....
Rebuild the crappy carb...
ARB Front bumper and if I can ever find one,  a safari snorkel...
New paint job.....
Trail Tough shackles
Spidertrax rear shock mount
Bad [censored] side guards (courtesy of Aftermarket 4x4)

It'll be similar to yours...How do you like the rear leaves up front....I'm thinking of going that route..... Is it a bit softer?

deffinitly take a look at the campgropund website too.....the campground is super nice.. and very family friendly. if camping isnt your thing they will rent cabins also. but if you plan on either bringing an RV/Camper or renting a cabin i recommend getting your reservation in ASAP as they fill up fast.

You will have to pay the regular camping prices for those services. the $10/person/night is only for the group tent camping area.

if you would rather a hotel/motel there is one right off 81 off exit 100 thats 2 miles from the campground so you would still be able to come to the raffle and dinner and its on the way from the campground to the park.

any questions let me know!

if you rent a cabin your subject to the campground fees....if you stay at group camp it should be 10/person/night.

the campground changed owners this winter so i got a meeting with the campground manager on wednesday to confirm.

event fee is $15any specific questions your more then welcome to pm me or george (blacknight)

also remember if you have never been to rausch creek before there will be a one time $10 membership fee (for their insurance carrier) that will give you a one year membership that can be used at anytime
