I want to put a 4.3L vortec out of a 1995 astro in a sammi. I'm not sure what to do for the harness and all that. Do i use the harness and the computer from the astro or..computer from the sammi? or...i don't know, help me with that please ???

 This should be a no brain-er. You have to use the ecm and wiring that goes with the engine you are using . There are several aftermarket wiring kits that make it pretty simple. I used painless wiring on mine.

I am not running the 4.3 but a 3.0 Ford EFI.. What I did was use the Stock Zuk Electical harness for Fuses, lights. etc... minus the ECM... Use the donner ECM and and the Fuse box and relays to power the 4.3 ECM... and tie the two together were required.... I suggest getting a FSM of the 4.3 Electrical...

This is how I did mine and it works great.... Of course if I could have afforded a pre built harness that is the way to go...

I am doing the 4.3 swap right now and that is the way I plan on doing it.  I don't have the money for a custom harness so I will be wiring it up myself, it should not be too hard.

Thanks alot! Im gonna use the donnor harness, no money for an after market harness right now.
