8)  SWEET!!  I am betting Cream Puff will be Conqered    ;D

Well that is a big part of the reason that all this is happening! I am not sure when i will make to to Harlan...but you can bet it wont be long after i get it done!

BTW...i am not the only one dying to get back down there. The Keystone Sami has some serious unfinished business also!

Ok...i have really gotten behind on this thread.

It has been on 1 wheeling trip and now i am the process of swapping front axles. I have bent the hell out of the one that is in it now. I am not real sure when it happened but i bet the extra juice had something to do with it.

Here are a few pics

BTW...i will never run regular tires again. Red label krawlers make things seem easy! ;D

We were in Harlan last weekend  ;D and I would have to say out of 18 or so trucks (including some $30,000 Jeeps) this Rig was number 1. This Tracker makes everything look easy. IMO, Your rig with that 2.0, Krawlers, and your front and rear link setup, is the best I have seen yet.
If you get a chance and have it, I would like to have a link calculator with you numbers in it so I can try to copy your set up. (If you didn't mind.) If you don't have my email let me know and I will PM it to ya.

You have definitely got the right setup.

OK...phase 1 of the winter rebuild has begun!

There is still alot to cut off before i can begin rebuilding, but at least i started. I am going to cut the rest of the rear section of the body off and cut the rockers out and make some boatsides as well as redo almost all of the tube work. I have never really liked the way the front was and now the back is all tweaked. So, it is all getting cut off and redone.

I have most of it figured out in my head so hopefully it all goes well!

Well, today seemed like a good day to spend some time working on the trapper.

There is a little more done than the pics show. The rockers are cut out, and there is one boatside started. The radiator is pulled out so it can be remounted in the rear.

Hope to get some more done tomorrow, and plan to stay busy working on it for the next couple weeks!

Got some more done yesterday. The boatsides are on, need a bunch of braces added. The A pillar is started.

The B pillar is kinda tricky, and i am not real sure what i am going to do. But i have some ideas. Seems like what ever the B pillar ends up mounting to will have lots to do with how the rear section of the frame turns out.

Still a ton of work to do but, at least it is going back together and not still coming apart! Hopefully i will have more updates soon!

Me either. I have a idea how i want it to be but, i am really not sure.

When we were cutting the body apart, it was amazing how bent and trashed it all was. The rockers were bent so bad that the floorboards were probably 2" higher at the rockers than at the tunnel. We had to cut part of the old cage to get it out, because all the sheetmetal was formed around it!

I guess that is what i should expect...it not like the last few years have been easy on it! ;D
