then go to the link at the top labeled "Docublog" then read "More than Warfighters"

This is a blog written by a gentleman that met Art in Afghanistan. He had the same effect on others as he had on us. I just thought ya'll would like to see it.

For those who aren't familiar with this project, the Christian Science Monitor is
running a six-week series, complete with videos, on some of the chaplains Lee and
Terry ran across in Afghanistan and Iraq, plus Lee's "Reporters on the Job" piece.?
There's also a four-part video interview with Lee and Terry (highly recommended).

?

To access it (it's free, and no registration is required), go to
www.inhisserviceandyours.com, and go to "Docublog."? In the newest blog, "A
Chaplain's Charges,"?there is a link to the Monitor series.

?

Check it out!

very good write up.  i did not no art, only talked to him once on here, but know he was a good man and an awesome leader.  my condolences go out to his family and everyone on here during the holidays, it truly is a hard time to mourn over someone as great as him.

I remember reading that thread. I really liked the style of Art's reply to you. Congrats on finding a spot you like so well so early in your life. All the Best!

I never met Art but know the breed. They are bigger than life and we are better for knowing them. Although I never met him, I will not forget him or what He has given us. Thank you Art !!!

How fitting

I look to my left and right and I see my men standing there shoulder to shoulder with me and we are out there kicking the snot out of the Taliban everyday................... and this is what I look like doing it ;D I love my job, can't think of doing anything else. I love serving my country................. that is why I serve.
