Tastes Like Chicken PM ME FOR TRACKICK PARTS

« on: Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 04:01:31 AM »

Its Good to be Back!  I just thought Id share my experience from last nite. My 96 16V Tracker started acting up 50 miles from Home. It seemed as it was running on 3 Cylinders, I took it to Autozone they pulled the codes.. TPS sensor circuit closed..AND Misfiring on #3 Cylinder..

The TPS is Over $200 as Im sure some of you are aware! Well long story short I hosed out the TPS with a can of Contact cleaner, and it ran better, no check engine light.. But it still had a miss. Checked the plug wire on #3 it had a crack in the plastic and was arcing onto the head.. I wrapped it with Electrical Tape and it runs like a top.. got me home fine.. Hopefully this will save someone else some $$ too
