Plain and simple.

I recently bought a 4-dr Sidekick that was supposed to pre pretty good running.

I rushed to get the Ironman 2" on, as the old springs were toast from the 2" spacers and the struts/shocks had seen 170K miles abd were non-existent.

Got that done.

Found the motor that was supposed to be good has little compression and massive valve blow-by.

I figured, okay so I'll go slow up hills but it will motor me around and in low range, who cares?

Then Friday night, I stepped on the brakes, only to find the pedal goes to the flow.  M/C decided to poop the sheets yeilding hardly any stopping power.

At this point, I started to believe it was an omen of bad things.

Nice.

Got 3 built Zooks now, from Mild to Wild, and not a single one fit to take me anywhere.

i guess i should post why i didnt make it also. i got invited to carlilse all truck nats. by a friend that works for skyjacker, i totally forgot that gz was the same weekend. carlisle sucked, it was too hot and i got wasted and had a hangoverall day sat. the worst part is that i have to drive right past rousch creek to get to carlisle, and i could have been there instead. >:(

that'll teach ya lol....

last time i went to carlisle all truck is was 90% lowriders...and 3/4's of those were hacks that looked like crap.... a few nice originals and a few nice lifted 4x4's....

super hot.....the swap meet stuff was way over priced (thanks to ebay ;) to the point a guy was tryin to get $900-1200 for a 49 F1 cab that was rusted out and looked like a kid took a hammer or a stick to the back of the cab and roof)

and to top that all off they raised the prices on everything!!!

after that i decided to never go back...at least at bloomsburg there were a bunch of nice trucks to look at. but also way over priced
