Today, I built my transmission crossmember..... The first pic shows what I started with.. Obviously wouldn't clear the front driveshaft....  ::)

So, I made a "high clearance" crossmember using 1/2"x2" bar stock... I am definaltely rusty with the stick welder, but it turned out pretty well.....  ;D

I stuck a driveshaft, that I had laying around, in there.... to get an idea if it would clear... The shaft I'll be using is about 3/4" smaller diameter, so it's good to go!  ;D

I will be making the frame mounts tomorrow and hopefully building the exhaust....

Well, the weekend is over....  :( Didn't make a lot of progress.... (had a side project going on)
But, the transmission crossmember and frame mounts are done! (except for drilling the bolt holes....

I got my exhaust on friday, from www.summitracing.com... 2-1/4" all mandrel bends and a flowmaster 40series "delta-flow"... I also bought a stainless flex joint, because I liked the way weed solid mounted the exhaust... I will be doing the same...  ;D

Today I got the high pressure hose (enough for 2 hoses... Re:spare), -6an reusable fittings and toyota (pressure side) to -6an adapters from PSC... Apparently the toyota adapter threads right in the tracker power steering pump... (a little info I got from pirate...  TONS of good 2.0 tech.... \\ http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=380684 ;) )
