I decided to "freshen up" my winch today.... I began by breaking off all 4 of the mounting bolts....  ::) After about 3 hours of tedious drilling, I had them and the square nuts out....  ;D
I dissasembled the entire winch and cleaned everything up... then re-greased everything. then I put on the new Heavy Duty motor from DB electrical. If this motor works half as good as it looks, this thing will work GREAT! Excellent attention to detal and inexpensive too...  ;D

I also clocked my engage/disengage lever... 2 holes forward for easier access, but I think one hole will be plenty, so I will probably be moving it back one hole.

I roughed in the opening for the winch with some sheet steel. I need to pull the front clip again and finish welding/ bracing it, and I will be trimming it a little bit, so I can remove the winch after it's done... if need be.
I also tried out my new bender and made my "stinger." Then I mocked it all up to see what it looked like.... I'm liking it!  ;D
