Okay.... It's been a BUSY weekend... I didn't get anything done on the tracker, but my shop is now GOOD TO GO! and then some.......
I'll start off with the boring pics of my compressor.....
In case you didn't know, I bought this Ingersoll Rand compressor about 4 months ago and the pump locked up.... well IR sent me a new one (upgraded CFM!!!) free of charge and NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I replaced it today.....

Now, on to my "hole"  :-[

It took me about 6 hours of nonstop hammerdrilling and sledgehammer work to get a 6"x6" hole in my garage floor.....  ::)
I found out why there are no cracks in my floor.... The slab is 8" thick and has rebar EVERYWHERE! I guess they were planning on parking a tank or bulldozer on it...  ::)
Once I got the hole cut out, I set a 2" hitch receiver in it, flush with the floor and as close to level as I could get.... then I poured in the "sackcrete"........

I know you cannot stand it anymore, so here's what I bought....
a JDsquared Model 3 tubing bender.... it has 1-5/8 die. Also, 10- 20' sticks of 1-5/8 D.O.M. (.120 wall) tube! 200' for me to play with!!!!!  ;D
My buddy had this and I was going to buy half of the tubing and borrow the bender.....But, he decided that he wanted to sell it all and gave me a pretty good deal on it!  ;D

I went with the "receiver" type mount, because my shop is SOOOO small. (1-1/2 car) Now, if I need to turn it, I will not have to unbolt it... all I have to do is pick it up and turn it.... Also, when my arms feel better (Re: hammerdrill) , I will cut another receiver into my covered "car port" so I can use it either place...

Here's where I put most of my tubing.... 6 sticks of it, anyhow... I have limited space, so I hung some HEAVY DUTY brackets that Pappy gave to me.... I put the other 4 sticks in Pappy's barn for safe keeping.....  ;D
