Thank you.... I tried mounting it outside of the grille, to avoid cutting.... But, it looked like the jeep guys do.... Hanging WAY out so everybody can see it. NO WAY that would work for me. ;D

Update!!! As of right now, I'm axing the front ARB idea..... I would LOVE to have one, but.... if I buy it, I am worried that there will not be enough $ left for the rest of the build... So, as soon as my tax check comes, I will be ordering a Aussie Locker and a set of 30-spline CHROMOLY longfields with hub gears.... ;D
That should do just fine.... ;D
If I decide that I don't like it, I can upgrade to ARB, next year.

Note: subject to change... ;D

here's what changed my mind......

ARB-                       $774
compressor              $149
set-up kit                 $99
solid pinion spacer      $19

TOTAL                     $1041

Aussie Locker          $239.99
No setup parts needed (unless I find something wrong when I tear down my thirdmember.......) ;D

dont blame you... why not an elocker? only about 200-300 more than the aussie, but for a whole third, and you dont have all the other expenses like you do for the air locker...

what are hub gears?

ARBs are nice but i think that you are making the right decision spend the saved money on something else. You have made a ton of progress on that thing in the past week keep it up looks sweet.

E-locker would be about the same price as arb, for me.... I would have to buy 5.29 ring and pinion and setup kit, etc.....

Straight from the factory! ;D
The lockright should be fine, Although (from what I read on pirate) the aussie is much smoother and quieter... and less prone to breakage.
