Today, I cut off all the misc. brackets on the front axle and welded on my truss and diff. guard. (very time consuming... weld an inch, let it cool... weld an inch, let it cool...)  ::)
Also, I cut out some steering stop gussets and burned them in...
Now, I just need to get a piece of 3/8" plate... to make a spacer for the driver's side spring perch... Weed, you have any laying around? lol

Luckily, Logan (newp09) came by and helped me keep my sanity... I start talking to myself, when I've been alone in the garage too long.  :-[
Here's a pic of us "goofing around" in the garage....

Today, I cut out some knuckle ball gussets. If you don't know already, a much easier way to cut shapes is on paper (or card stock) I have been using this method A LOT an it really makes things easier. Just make a template out of cardstock and do your "whittling" on that. Then transfer it to the workpiece..... Anyhow, on to the progress pics... I cut the ball gussets out of some 1/4" plate I had laying around, burned them in and wire wheeled the housing... then added some primer.
