Not much new, yet.... I did pick up some 3/4" HD plastic cuttingboard for a skidplate/ bellypan. Pics later.

Well, nothing exciting, but I have made a little progress. I pulled the front axle and finished plating the framerails.  ;D
Glad that part is done.....  ::)
Also finished the front spring hangers (pics later, too dark in garage for cellphone pics)and began disassembly of the front axle.
Next, I'll totally strip the front axle and add some ball gussets and a truss..... then install ALL new bearings and seals.
I also need to find some center bolts for my leaf springs.... 5/8" head with 5/16" shank...
Getting there, VERY slowly, but getting there.... ;D

Well, I got a little bit done today....
I did a little cutting, so that my front clip would clear the IFS yota box. Also, I had to make a new body mount for the drivers side...because the old one was right where the steering box HAD to go.  ::)

Next, I had to cut off the bottom section of the wheelwell and make a new panel, with a pass-through for the steering shaft...

That's all for now.... Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to work on it some more.
Next, I'll pull the front clip off again (hopefully for the last time) and finish welding all of the newly boxed areas....

BTW, in case you didn't notice.... I got a new camera! 6.2 megapixel! Too bad my computer died and now I have to use a REALLY slow loaner...  ::)
But, hey.... I'm really glad to have one that... kinda works. LOL
