Okay, I have had a lot going on the past couple of days.... and I haven't had time to work on it.   :(
And I probably will not have time for the next week or two.
 :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(
But I did measure the wheelbase today.
It's 105"  [approve]
I think that will be just fine. Not too short, not too long.  ;D

WoW!  Very nice ride...  Bell I'll bet you are one proud poppa.

I've always felt that the new 99 up rounded body lines look  [puke] , but lifted with BIG tires changes everything.  That looks sweet.  I never noticed the resemblance to the rounded S-10 fender grill before.  I guess that is the Chevrolet linage coming out.

I am also amazed at the aesthetic difference remaking the front crossmember does to the look.  This gives it the look of a custom fabbed / purpose built truck.  This will also give you the chance to extend the frame rails into a winch mount /tray with a decent bumper.  +++  [headbang] [smiley=thumb.gif] [jump]

I will start disassembly... probably next week. I need to finish-weld everything and get the Sammy t-case mounted. I REALLY, REALLY want to drive it..... I'll post pics when I make some progress..... Jon

Finally, some updates........
I pulled the front clip off.... for about the 10th time.  ::)

I had to cut a section of the front bottom framerail to make room for the pitman arm.

The framerails on these are really thin, so I came up with the idea to plate the front rails with 11 ga. sheet. The rails were not designed to have half of the weight of the front..... all the way out on the end of the framerails...
I think this will more than compensate for this.  ;D

I also clamped my ifs 'yota box in place for a look......
Looks like it is gonna work great!

I also re-checked my measurements on EVERYTHING. My front pinion is @ 10 degrees!  8)  Now for the bad. My spring hangers are 3/4 of an inch out of square......  ::)
The hangers are just tacked in, so it shouldn't be a big deal to cut the passenger's side ones loose and move them.......

Pics to follow..... My camera quit again  ::) So, i had to borrow my neighbors..... I'm still learning how to use it......  :-\\
