i found a company that makes longer coils. they offer 16 and 18" coils in 150 and 200# ratings. i think i want a pair of 16" 150 and a pair of 18" 150. i will put that spacer from the rear in the front, and run the 18s in the rear, and the 16s in the front with the spacer. that will give me 2.5" of lift all around. if i just swap out to the 16"s all around i will gain 1.5" of lift. the springs i am running now are 175# 14" coils, so i should also get a little softer ride...

the company is blue coils. and 4 springs are about 265 shipped.

Will those springs make it easier to apply the armour all to the wheels and tires? Or just make it easier to get past the speed bump's at the mall? :P ;D

I gotta admit, I do like your rig and wish I could do something like that to my 4dr. [approve]

Sounds good!!! I ordered the spacers for my front today and I will be doing the mods that Bigrubbers did to his and will try and fit some 38s on mine. Let me know how those coils work out.

got started on the rear bumper last night. it is gonna be big, but that was the only way i saw to cover that ugly crossmember in the rear of the truck. ::)

anyway, here are some pics.
1) (2) 2x3 tubes cut to length
2) insert hitch tube in the middle
3) started capping it in prep for skin
4) how is should looke when complete. i may add some dring slugs in it like we did on the front, but for now, this will be it.

later we will add a swing out tire carrier... i am excited!!
