i love those wheels! are the DC-1s simi beadlocks? i can design one that will bolt up if they are. i would only need a few simple measurements... lemme know.

Well, they have bolts around the rim... And I have seen someone on ebay selling them, specifying that simulated beadlock rings could be added, BUT i cannot find any more info on this. Other than said ebayer.  ::)
I'll have to do some digging tonight @ work and see what I can find out. I would LOVE to have a set of these...

That picture of the third member just sitting there is a 4cyl third. The one in the axle housing is a v6. And yes they have the same bolt pattern

got a little more done yesterday and tonight. these pics are from about 11 hours of disassembly and cleaning... the axles are clean tho and ready to go back together. [approve]

and my rock rings fit, just gotta clean the crud out of the holes left behind by the CNC machine

and primered the rock ring


will paint tomorrow. i have decided to paint the rings orange.

still gotta get the other 3 cutout. hopefully he can get em this weekend, but no rush.

I had the same thought! My DC-1's are already getting some rock rash. If someone sold a bolt on steel ring I would be first in line to get a set. My only concern would be the 12 bolts thread into the aluminum wheel. I don't remember for sure but i think the instructions said to torque the bolts to 6 or 8 foot pounds. I wouldn't want to strip the threads.

lemme know. i would print it to scale and send a paper copy to you to try out first, then we could go from there.
