well, i thought i was gonna get the kicker 3 setup and while i was outside looking at the axles, i realized that the brakes on both are TOTALLY shot... :(  so, i am gonna have to use some of my extras money to rebuild the brakes... :( for everythig, i am looking at FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS!!!  :o

i can install rear discs using sky mfg's kit for an extra 100 bucks, so i guess i am gonna do that...

man i was wanting that extra gearing...  :\\'(

Why spend $500 and replace everything new.  You can fix your brakes to dependable service for half that.

well, the front axle only has one caliper, and the rotors are almost rusted in two. :o

the rear is just gonna get the sky disc kit... the backing plates are rusted out on the rear, and they cost 80 bucks new at the dealer... i can not find any used around here... the wheel cylinders are no good in the back, so they have to be replaced. the drums are bad too. i am just gonna bite the bullet and replace them.

well, still dont have my axles back yet, but i am hoarding parts to go on when i get them back... my rear disc conversion should be here tomorrow, and i just scored for a great price a trail gear rebuild kit for the front with new rotors, marlin oil seal, backing plate eliminator kit, and rock rings for the felts... still looking for some calipers for the front and rear, but i am watching some of those too.

rear disc kit arrived from Sky Mfg today... now if only i had my axles so i could install it...

brackets

they sell the rotors in the kit. they are chevy and have to be machined out to fit the yota axles... it was worth it to me not to have to buy some and have them reamed, so i got the entire kit.
