ok, it is killing me, so i am gonna go ahead and start a thread for my buildup...  ;D

i hope this isnt gonna turn out to be premature. i THINK i am gonna be getting my gears installed next week in my yoter axles, so hopefully they will be ready in a couple weeks. so tentatively, the build should begin as soon as my daughter goes back to her mom's at the end of july.

this is gonna be for my 96 Geo Tracker 4 door, or long wheelbase, or 5 door... i am gonna dub it the "Grocery Getter" given its design and nature of the build...

for starters, here is what i have now...

bone stock with the exception of Sirius satelite radio and roof racks

i did a headrest mod lol hardcore!!

started taking off the molding from the doors, which i still havent finished... [stickpoke]

slapped a 2" receiver back there

has some sweet half doors made

and took it to the RTI ramp for some "preliminary" flex shots. lol

i have ordered and received the Trail Tough Trail Slayer kit. this is what i will be using to do my SAS...

even got a spiffy tag...  [headbang]

my plans for this truck are simple: build it, and wheel it... i have sold the last 2 rigs i have built BEFORE wheeling either one... i should be shot! lol

coming next month (or as soon as i can get the axles geared and all the brackets welded up) is:
toyota axles
5.71 gears
35" Mickey Thompson Claws
Trail Slayer kit

then i will start working towards getting armored up: sliders, bumpers, skids, diff protection, etc, etc...

then i am sure i will need more gearing, so i will start looking for a samurai tcase to put behind my tracker case...

but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE understand, i am on a major budget, so after the suspension build, there wont be a whole lot of progress real fast... lol i am a broke HO!!

so. stay tuned...

thanks! this will be my most difficult build yet... i have never set up a coil suspension before. brent at trail tough looks to have made it as easy as it could get, so the only "setting up" i should have to do is bolting everything on...

Ohhhh   Ahhhh !   Nice rig!    I can't wait to hear how the kit goes.

I want one for another project but I'd have to sell my White 4-dr first.
