havent done a lot lately... my money tree has wilted BIG time!!!

i did order a rear swing out tire carrier from Zuks Offroad with my prize money from the rafffle that Myron was so gracious to offer to the zuk community. thanks My!!

i am going to install it on my rear bumper until i have the funds to order his rear bumper for kicks...

Good stuff!

i also STILL havent gotten any shocks yet... lol

but i did get my rear stud to eye adapters in and got one on today. hope to get my measurements for my shocks and get them ordered soon.

these came from 4 wheel drive hardware

How are those tires working for you , no rubbing?
Do you have spacers on your front axle to widen it?
Are those 18" springs working well?

How are those tires working for you , no rubbing? Only driven it about 10 miles SLOWLY (no shocks! :o ) round trip to gas station since putting them on. I think I will have to trim a little more of the fenders and I may remove them completely. But I haven't checked yet.
Do you have spacers on your front axle to widen it? Nope. 2.5" bs wheels only

Are those 18" springs working well? So far so good. Sitting a lil taller than I care for. But I am hoping the tire carrier will fix that. ;D

TIRE CARRIER!!
this one is made to work with zuks offroad's trackkick rear bumper, so i had to "modify" it to work. we placed a piece of angle on the top of my bumper, and welded and bolted the carrier rest to the bumper and angle iron. then, we welded and bolted the hinge mount to the bumper on the other end. it seems pretty stable. worst case, i will have to add a gusset to the angle iron on the latch. it seems really secure and supports me, so i think it is good.

once i get the extra funds, i plan on buying myrons rear bumper to replace this one, but it gets me by for now! ;D

pics:

thanks to Daniel (FGIALS), and Lenny (godzukiman) for helping me get it installed!!

after i got home, i pulled it all back apart to paint it.

also got my SS brake lines installed up front, shocks installed all around, and i rotated the pinion down out back. no more vibes now! YAY!

well the bumper is not closed off because i havent been back to the shop to have the guy finish it because i am not going to keep it on the truck. the tire carrier is not closed off because i had to assemble the latch. now i have to decide if i want a rubber plug or if i want to weld it up. either way, it will be closed up ultimately.

got the swingout on. myron pm'd me this morning and said i had the jerry can mount mount installed wrong. so i ground it off and will have it reattached later.

with the spare on, it sits a good bit lower in the back. cant exactly tell from these pics, but i pulled the spacer i had up front. i am gonna chew on this look for a while, but i may have to move it back to the rear of the truck to give me an inch of lift back to level it out. right now, it still looks like the rear is sitting lower...

with spacers:
