R.I.P ART ...... mission complete

« Reply #45 on: Friday, June 15, 2007, 05:08:25 PM »

I don't know where to start ..... all I know is that my best friend has left and he will never be back!!! This man was a true man solid person. As Scott mentioned ...... A devoted man to his FAMILY, GOD, FRIENDS & COUNTRY!!  I am all choked up just writing this about him. I considered Art as a brother more than a friend and I will miss him!!

GOD BLESS YA ART !!

Jimmy or Rawlings ...........  if there is anything Chris and the kids need please let me know.

Man o man........ :-[

A friend called me this morning and told me the news.  I couldn't, and still cant, believe it.

Art was an awesome dude and one of the few real wheelers that was not afraid to pack up and go on cross state or cross country wheeling trips.   We had even talked about a trip out to EJS one of these years when our deployment schedules allotted time.

I am glad that I can say "I know Art Lilley"

RIP brother......

I don't get on here much anymore, heard the horrible news from scott.

my condolences and prayers go out to his family.  What scott and others have said about him, I wish I would have had the honor to meet him.

This is the WORST news I have heard in a LONG time.  My heart goes out to EVERYONE personally touched by this tragedy.  Prayers are being sent and tears are flowing as I type this.

Art, you are a special person and have touched many lives!

I don't think there is a dry eye in the place today but you have to be happy in the fact that this man was so highly regurded by so many people and I mean Many . He touched thousands of lives literaly.
