I was guessing

I'm hoping to trailer this time. But it'll be a small trailer and a gas tow rig.

If I had a big enough trailer and diesel tow rig, I wouldn't mind towing 2 zuks and splitting fuel money. ;D

You should look into flat towing. Last time I used my dad's Mazda B2600 pick-up. 4 cylinder engine but it pulled the zuk fine. Got around 16mpg! ;D

I won't be smiling after this next tellico trip.

My dad has a different truck now. He said I can borrow it.
It's a Chevy 2500 Silverado. I think it has the 6.0 gas engine?

Not sure if I'll flat tow or trailer. But either way I know it won't be getting 16mpg :-\\

I think I could do that if I go 60mph with mine on the trailer. I should do a little better now with the Juice w/ attitude. [smirk]

He said he's been getting around 17mpg driving around town. So I was guessing around 12mpg for the trip. I'll probably use the truck this spring and trailer my zuk to zuwharrie as a test run.

My best tank yet pulling the Sammy was in NC, it was 15mpg on back roads. My problem is I am not driving 60-65mph.   :-X

I wish my cummins could get the cummins mileage.  :-[ The 4.10 gears, auto trans and 4x4 really kill it. I normally get 13ish towing. Those guys with the 6spds, 2wd and 3.55 gears are kicking down the mileage. Can I get a Google maps link to where you guys will be staying, or at least the closest town?
