Is it alright if we ask them to put their parents online name in their profile somewhere, or in their signature, so we can Identify them?

That's a great idea Caleb, also, parents please go into the profile and choose "Hide my email from the public" so that they don't get emails from spam, etc. They can safely share their emails in the Zu Kids Chat board if you want.

Maybe you mods should post up all these tips in a sticky for all the parents and kids to read. They are good ideas and all parents should know about how to protect kids online.

We can compile a list of suggestions but in the end the parents have to decide what to put into the Zu Kids profile, they know their kids better than we ever will. If anyone has a question please feel free to contact one of us and we'll help however we can.

ive never been involved with this stuff because this is her first online community she has used.    she cant go by mt example because i kinda just lay it all out there, i always have and ive been able to handle the reprecussions thus far but i dont need her exposed to the      " bad people "   .


i think ill have her change a few things in her profile.

  Ya'l get those kids on to talk to each other.  They can talk about anything they want to, like what TV shows they watch, what games they play on thier computer, how mean thier teacher is or just whatever.
