awsome...exactly what i wanted ;D

this next one may sound newb...but i try ;D

will moving the front axle forward 1.5" by using rear springs cause any problems with my steering?  -im SKy's DragLINk over the top-(tierod remained the same)

If you were still running a stock set-up, sometimes the drag link can get bound up if the axle gets moved to far forward. But with your set-up you should be fine.

Just remember to check and make sure your brake lines will be long enough with the added flex. And you will probably need a front drive-shaft spacer or a thicker one if you already have one.

Going to mount bumpstops for the M/L's on the bumper and make it possable to pin them closed as well.

ok...so ive started out by taking the overloads out of the rear set of stock springs i have,  then i added the third leaf down from a pair of stock fronts

with out the other leaf from the front pack, they seemed to soft and flimsy

I am running a 5 leaf RUF pack on mine.  I do have a heavy bumper and winch mounted on front too.
I used the military wrap (the one under the main leaf) spring from the front pack (the centering pin hole will have to be redrilled) as well as one other (I think the next one down), and removed the overload from the rear pack I moved up front.

No, it really isn't.  Samurai springs are really pretty soft (I guess, because they are only 2 inches wide and the leafs are thin).  And remember, I have probably 100lbs of extra weight hanging off the front (winch and heavy steel bumper).  Even with the 5 pack, the springs still have very little positive arch to them, when sitting on level ground.
Before I lowered my bumpstops, I could put the springs into a negative arch without trying too hard.

would there be anything wrong with mounting the cherokee shackle on the spring instead of frame mount?

....if you'd wheel your rig a few times it would sit level...then add a winch and it will sit nose down

i run 5 leaf ruf and they're completely flat at ride height :P
