Okay so the other day i was doing some poking around  when i was doin my thumb thorttle... And down by the knee bar i found a tiny switch with 3 wires running to it.. and it looks factory... It was attached to a screw on the knee bar... does anyone know what this is or if its even factory

I have an 88 do i even have a check engine light i've never see it

Yeah, you've got a check engine light. If you look through the FSM, you can actually use it for some troubleshooting. The switch is the reset.

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear. HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall. TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

I think it's the dummy check engine light reset button.  ;)

Well, yours may not be a "check engine" light...it may be a.......ahhh I can't remember what it says now......it's not "check engine" though....
