First off, the guy who makes up the cool names wasnt around when I came up with it, so maybe a name will come, maybe not.

I ordered the rest of the brackets today and the bars and springs, talked with Adam, got almost everything figured out.  The front clip has been pulled, radiator off, the body is almost ready to be pulled (looks like its coming off Thursday) and the motor is about ready to be pulled, coming out after the body is off.

I am assembling a hardcore Zuk starter set in the garage, consisting of toy axles full of good stuff, 5.29s, spool rear, detroit front, longs up front.  Also over there is my steering setup (Marlin), steering box, lower link bars (Rock Equipment - ask for Tony, he'll get ya set up good), and a geared t-case, gears from Brent from Trail Tough.  Of course, all of this is "some assembly required" ::)

I dont have any pictures of how it sits now, its dark.

The plan is coils front and rear on Toys, looking for a 37-38 inch tire (any one have some close?  I have 35s Ill trade if needed).  We are going to stretch it to about 100ish, cut off the rear body behind the targa and do some cool looking tube work (I want the tube work to scare little kids, that would be cool ;D).

Right now, the only thing that holds me up is parts, time, and space.  I dont have all the parts, I wish I had more time, and my brother's truck is in the garage (space part ;D)

I am hoping I can have it done by the Fall Zu, no guarentees as money/parts, time, and space may hold me up quite a bit (always seems like its the same hinderences every time ;D).  I guess we'll just have to see.

Ill keep yall posted, but I dont know about pictures.  They may happen, they may not.

Sounds about what I'm running now. With those lower link bars did you get frame and axle mounts? How about something to capture the coils with? You might get some ideas from a post I did on Pirate called Soonerzuk's 3 link. Good luck.

Yea, ended up going with the ballistic fab radius arm mounts with coil mounts for the front lowers.  Gonna make some for the rest.

Right now, theres not much to see except a bunch of parts laying in the garage, and parts not on the Sammy.  When some of the parts start making it to the sammy, or when the frame sits bare in the garage, Ill maybe snap a few pics.

I got the springs today, and they are longer than I expected, but they are soft, so it should be okay.  Should be getting more parts tomarow and into next week.

I got my tabs yesterday from A and A Manufacturing and the brackets today from Ballistic Fab.  I highly recomend those guys, their stuff is sweet.  I think a little modifying is in order, but not much.  Definitely a sweet peice.

I got the radius arm mounts, 4 under frame mounts, and 2 inner frame mounts from Ballistic, then 8 tabs from A and A (just a basic tab, nothing special).

Here is a pic of the radius arm/coil mount:

It is a self jigging peice, and its not together, so it does look a little funny.  The under frame mount looks like a leaf spring hanger with a cover for the bottom, and the inner frame mount has an angle to it.  It is definitely a sweet peice, I cant wait to get these on the axles and under the Zuk.

I am expecting a couple of packages from Tony for my upper links and panhard bar.

On another note, my front diff is done and is on the way back to the house as of Monday or Tuesday, then the rear will get checked out, just to make sure its right.
