First off this  ecm  the latter 16valve generation 96 obd2  automatic 3 speed ,the ecm#s are as follows

 This is also a california emission model with different  ecm-harness ,has extra evap sensor, and the cps sensor plug at master cylinder is different as well[has 5 wires instead of 3] This  harness can be mod to fit non cali. models but i would say the non cali harness with a cali ecm would trip a evap sensor code!

I have an Ecm sitting on the shelf and I don't know what year and car its from.  I beleive it is from a

98 sidekick 16v?
