I am curious as to which computers fit which vehicles.

PLEASE post your rig (Year / engine / transmission type / body style / 2wd or 4wd) and it's coresponding computer ID here.

Please post Vehicle Info and Computer ID's only!

If you have coments or questions please ask them in another post.

 I am mirroring his post below for easy reference, but leaving everyhing else in place too.  Please continue to add to the ECM list as we might not have yours listed yet.

(This is a California emission model with different ECM harness, has extra evap sensor, and the cps sensor plug at the master cylinder is different and also has 5 wires instead of 3. This harness can be modified to fit Non-California models, but I would say the Non- California harness with a California ecm would trip a evap sensor code.)

First off this  ecm  the latter 16valve generation 96 obd2  automatic 3 speed ,the ecm#s are as follows

I have an Ecm sitting on the shelf and I don't know what year and car its from.  I beleive it is from a

98 sidekick 16v?

Nothing.  The only things you need to match are the "33920-71E11" and the US-MT, or FED-MT, or FED-AT, or FED-MT.  If those 2 things match, then it should work.

Just so you know.....when comparing ECMs and interchangability the only things that are really relevant is the 33920-xxxx number and the FED or US and AT or MT.
If you look at yours, you will likely see that there is a 0 or O after the 70EA.  So if that is the case, there are a couple of others on here that is the same as yours.

That's what i thought. But I didn't see any even the 95 listing with 70EA 0. And I'm assumeing that bottom letters US MT is for USA manual trans. Do the numbers have to be a perfect match? I can't even find a listing anywhere even A-1 Cardone that has my numbers.

Really?  Look at one of my old posts.....I list that exact number and that exact year.  I think there was one other post with that same number too (might not have listed the year along with it).
Yes, for it to be a sure match the 33920-xxxxx numbers have to be an exact match.  Others may work, or may not......the only way to be 100% sure is to match the 33920-xxxxx number exact.  But I have used ECMs with slightly different 33920-xxxxx numbers and they work, but I don't really have any rule on if they will work or not....it is kinda a hit or miss on whether they will or not.
Yes, MT-manual, AT=auto.
